Cool, huh? What we didn't count on back then was all the school district red-tape and approvals we need to have to dig up the little sucker. Yeah, REAL cool! All work must be done by licensed contractors, insurance, etc to cut the concrete, dig out the capsule and then cement back over the area so the finish matches the existing finish of the concrete where the capsule is buried. The estimates in 2003 to make this all happen came in around $550. Since we didn't have the money allocated prior to the reunion last year, Neil Sterett came up with the idea of asking for donations of $40 to raise funds for the project. With that donation, you would receive a set of six (6) music cd's featuring the sounds and songs from our high school years (1969 thru 1973). This collection of lovely melodies was prepared by classmate Neil Sterett. Who can forget the tunes from our high school years? Guaranteed to bring back the memories and flashbacks to an era when rock was rock and there was no talk. It's recommended you do not operate any heavy machinery while listening to this music - it's liable to drive you crazy! We can, if requested, provide individual CD's for a donation of $10 each, but when you order the entire set, you SAVE $20!
