McMenamin's Cornelius Pass Roadhouse was the location of our 30-year Reunion last August 9th, 2003 in Hillsboro. With about 160 in attendance the mood of the evening was upbeat. A few people had a scare when they accidently wandered into the Hilhi Class of 1963 reunion going on in another area on the McMenamin's property (they were thinking they looked really good!). They were brought back down to realilty when they found the real party. Old friendships were renewed, wallet photos of the kids and grandkids flashed in the evening light, roaming eyes peered through bifocals to read name tags among the sea of gray hair, more mixed drinks than beer flowed from the bartenders and most everyone stayed past their usual bedtime. A splended time was had by all!

The reunion committee did a superb job of making a memorable evening. Thanks to the efforts of Robin Burke Steiner, Shannon Jones Lien, Anne Hesse Gosch, Wendy Solderholm Bass, Mary Ellen Clark, Tim Clark, Mary Ellen Jamison, Neil Sterett (the music man) and Scott Leverenz. We also had lots of help from Terry Steiner (Class of '72), Craig Lien (Class of '72) not that they had much choice in the matter thanks to spouses Robin and Shannon (thanks, guys) and eveyone else who helped to make the evening a success.

Those who attended the reunion also had the opportunity to go on an old-fashioned scavenger hunt based on the information below, this time looking for fellow classmates rather than the usual round of stuff and junk.

These and other fun facts and photos will be included in the reunion memory book, now available for ordering. Click here Reunion Book for ordering information.
